Kink BMX Giving the riders what they want since 1993
This brand goes all the way back to 1993, where founder Zack Phillips was tired of breaking parts from riding street. Furthermore, there were not really companies dedicated to aftermarket parts like sprockets and pegs.
So Zack went to a local workshop, down the street in Rochester, NY, with a bunch of broken parts, asked if they could do something similar. One week later he got a bunch of axles and pegs, and boom - Kink BMX was born.
From selling out of a backpack to a worldwide company
The young BMX rider, started by selling Kink BMX parts from his backpack when he was out riding, or taking photos of other BMX riders. Since then Kink BMX has evolved from a brand that only produced parts to a full-blown BMX company that sells parts, completes, apparel and much more.
The company sells their products all over the world, but Kink BMX still operates out of Rochester where Zack and his team of fellow BMX riders and co-workers are working hard to design innovative quality Kink bikes and Kink BMX bike parts.
