Safe and easy payment

Your payment is secure, encrypted, and fully compliant with EU regulations, including PSD2 and 3D Secure, for safe and reliable checkout.

We use Altapay and Braintree (a PayPal service), both certified as PCI DSS Level 1 providers and fully compliant with PSD2, including 3D Secure 2 for extra protection.

Encrypted checkout - Your details are protected with SSL/TLS encryption and handled securely by Altapay or Braintree. SkatePro never sees your card info.
3D Secure authentication - When needed, payments are verified using 3D Secure 2, adding an extra layer of fraud protection.
Charged only when shipped - The amount is reserved at checkout and only charged when your order ships. We can never charge more than the order total.

Credit card verification

To protect you against fraud, we use an extra layer of security for credit card payments. Depending on your card and bank, you may be asked to verify your payment - for example, using a code by text, a banking app, or biometric authentication (like fingerprint or face ID).
