Marker bindings are available in many variants for different types of skis. Some of the most popular models are Marker Griffon, Duke and Squire.
The company Marker bindings was founded by sports journalist and ski instructor Hannes Marker in 1952. Because a large number of Hannes Marker’s students got injuries when skiing, he started to investigate how the number of injuries could be minimized. He came up with the idea of self-releasing ski bindings. These bindings became a huge success and because of them it became possible to avoid the most common injuries.
