Impressed by quick delivery (London, UK) and good design. However, I did not expect to pay an extra £30 for an hour's labour for a professional bike maker to assemble it. Unfortunately, while the design is great, the quality of parts, is not. My back brake is
of cheap quality and "spongey", ie. it takes a while to stop ! OK, so I'm not a stunt woman, (I'm 56) however, at times, due to London terrain, I will be going down hill, and with this, I need to be extra careful. Shame. In time, I may need to replace the brakes with better quality ones... more expense. It does glide and is smooth, so I just need to use it and be extra mindful for future purchases. |
