Previously, we had a much cheaper set from Decathlon that was very sturdy and lasted over four years.
Unfortunately, this set started to show signs of wear after only about six months. The seams on the knee pads came apart so badly that the inner material fell out. The side seams on the wrist guards also came apart, causing the plastic splint to fall out.
The online store's customer service dismissed this as "normal wear and tear" and an "unfortunate situation" and did not offer a solution. I find this very disappointing. I do not consider it acceptable for a set in this price range to fall apart so quickly—especially since other reviews describe similar problems with the seams.Reply from SkateProThank you for your detailed review.
