Installing a BMX Rear Wheel

This video demonstrates the correct way to fit a BMX rear wheel.

1. Position the chain onto the bottom bracket and onto the sprocket of the rear wheel.
2. Place the rear wheel into the bike frame.
3. Encompass the chain around the front sprocket, then pull the wheel rearward.
4. As you pull backwards, ensure the wheel is centred and hand-tighten it.
5. Check that your chain is adequately tight.
6. Now, secure the rear wheel using a spanner.
7. You have now successfully installed the rear wheel!
