Enhancing your ice skate blades at SkatePro: Catering to both hockey and figure skate enthusiasts.
- This service can be optionally included with the purchase of ice skates from SkatePro.
- We provide only standard edge-sharpening.
"Manufacturers supply ice skates with a fundamental level of sharpening, allowing the blade to be used for skating. Unfortunately, this sharpening is subpar and does not match the standard of freshly sharpened ice skates." (by Kenwin, Ice skate expert at SkatePro)
Ice skate sharpening is a service, therefore the usual rights of return are not applicable to the sharpening itself. If you purchase skates with sharpening and decide to return the skates, you can still exercise your right of return on the skates. Please be aware that the quality of the sharpening is also influenced by the quality of the skates themselves. Consequently, a less expensive skate will never be as sharp or perform as well as a pricier ice skate.
The price indicated is for sharpening a pair of skates.
