Description
Go Project Freestyle bearings boast exceptional strength, making them ideal for skating disciplines that involve significant side-load and leverage, such as sharp turning, freestyle, slalom, or using large wheels. They operate with very low torque and are infused with an ultra-light oil. These bearings contain SIX Chrome Steel balls, rather than SEVEN, to minimise friction. Each ball is slightly larger than standard bearings, which suits them perfectly for high vertical load-bearing sports like inline skating.
Although Go Project Freestyle bearings are on par with an ABEC 7 rated bearing, Go Project opts not to utilise the standard ABEC scale for rating bearings, as it does not pertain to the specific tolerances required by inline skating. The premium quality of manufacturing and materials is of greater importance than a rating based on 'revolutions per second'. The Freestyle bearings are simply given a Speciality Rating of 4.5/5, which indicates their performance when employed as a skate bearing.
