Aqua-A is a solvent-free, water-based adhesive used in all Ion wetsuits.
To fortify stress points within the wetsuit, Ion has incorporated Melco tape for added longevity. Ion advises: “If you’ve inadvertently left the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, they may start to peel off. Don’t fret! Gently apply an iron to the affected area as the glue is activated by heat.”
Wetsuits are designed to follow body contours, enhancing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature a contour cut.
To prevent water from accumulating at fabric overlaps, drain holes are incorporated. These holes won’t enlarge.
Removable velcro loops are positioned at the lower legs to prevent water ingress from below.
At the knee regions, L-Tex nylon is utilised to safeguard and improve durability.
Inside the wetsuit, there is a water-resistant pocket for keys.
