• Aqua-A

Aqua-A represents a solvent-free, water-based adhesive used in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To fortify stress points within the wetsuit, Ion has incorporated Melco tape for added durability. Ion remarks: “If you inadvertently left the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, they might begin to peel away. Do not worry! Gently press an iron over the affected area as the glue is activated by heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits following body contours improve flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits are equipped with contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are installed to prevent water build-up where fabrics overlap. These holes will not expand.

• Leg Loop

Removable velcro loops found at the lower legs to prevent water from seeping in from below.

• Sunglass Loop

A webbing loop on the wetsuit's neck allows for attachment of Ion sunglasses.

• Internal Key Pocket

An internal pocket inside the wetsuit designed to keep keys resistant to water.
