• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is an eco-friendly water-based adhesive utilised in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To fortify high-stress areas within the wetsuit, Ion has incorporated Melco tape for improved durability. Ion notes: “Should you mistakenly leave the suit in the boot of your car on a scorching day, the tape may begin to peel off. Don’t worry! Carefully use an iron over the affected area since the adhesive reactivates with heat.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits designed to align with body contours, enhancing both flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature contour cut.

• Drain Holes

Drain holes are included to prevent water accumulation at fabric overlap points. These holes will not enlarge.

• Supra Tex

Durable fabrics are used in areas of the wetsuit that are more exposed, such as the knees. The Supra Tex material offers superior resistance to abrasion.
