Aqua-A is a solvent-free, water-based adhesive utilised in all Ion wetsuits.
To strengthen stress points within the wetsuit, Ion has added Melco tape for enhanced durability. Ion advises: “If you mistakenly leave the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, the tape may begin to peel. Don't panic! Gently use an iron on the affected area as the glue activates with heat.”
These wetsuits are crafted to follow body contours, enhancing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature contour cut.
To prevent water accumulation where fabric layers overlap, drain holes are included. These holes will not widen.
Material is used for more exposed parts of the wetsuit, such as the knee areas. The Supra Tex fabric offers greater resistance to abrasion.
