Onyx Element 3mm Chestzip 2018 Wetsuit

A complete body neoprene wetsuit designed with a snug fit. This Onyx Element is 3mm thick and features a chest zip with flip-over design—an enhanced closure system to prevent water flush-throughs around the neck area.

Features:

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a solvent-free, water-based adhesive utilised in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To strengthen stress points within the wetsuit, Ion has added Melco tape for enhanced durability. Ion advises: “If you mistakenly leave the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, the tape may begin to peel. Don't panic! Gently use an iron on the affected area as the glue activates with heat.”

• Contour Cut

These wetsuits are crafted to follow body contours, enhancing flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits feature contour cut.

• Drain Holes

To prevent water accumulation where fabric layers overlap, drain holes are included. These holes will not widen.

• Supra Tex

Material is used for more exposed parts of the wetsuit, such as the knee areas. The Supra Tex fabric offers greater resistance to abrasion.

• GBS - Glued Blind Stitched

For exceptional water resistance by effectively bonding neoprene panels, glueing is combined with blind stitch sewing to join the panels together.
