AO employs U-shaped welding technology, which minimally affects the deck while significantly enhancing the welding area. The headtube is forged from a single solid block of aluminium under 5 tonnes of pressure, and the neck is similarly forged! 30% stronger support beams.

Additional enhancements include a precision-machined headset opening after anodising, ensuring an exact fit. The neck has been positioned fully forward to optimise deck space, and the angled shape begins at the beam to prevent the edges from bending.
