Robust and rigid VX deck by Santa Cruz
The Total Dot skateboard deck from Santa Cruz is crafted as a VX deck, featuring only 5-ply of North American Hard Rock Maple, complemented by 2-ply of Santa Cruz Quad X Technology (carbon/fibreglass) for reinforcement.
Compared to standard 7-ply boards, VX decks offer superior strength and stiffness. If you're prone to breaking decks frequently, the Total Dot could be the answer.
Additionally, the Total Dot is marginally lighter and considerably thinner than typical 7-ply decks. Initially, it might feel a bit unusual, but becomes highly enjoyable once accustomed to it.
