Nordic XC Trainer Off Road Skates

SHELL
The shell is crafted with strength and support as priorities. Constructed from a special composite compound, it is exceptionally rigid due to the inclusion of 25% fibreglass mixed into the material. It boasts a 165mm mounting distance, allowing the skater to adjust the frames sideways to achieve the ideal skating position.

PADDING
This skate is equipped with a distinctive three-layer padding system: firmer foam on the exterior, softer foam on the interior, and an additional 3-D latex foam in the ankle region, ensuring a perfect fit for the ankle and heel to boost support with every stride. Beneath the lining, a soft sponge foam is incorporated for enhanced comfort and support. The external padding retains its form thanks to a special heat mouldable chemical sheet.

LACING
This model showcases micro mesh material and high-grade PU upper material. Powerslide has incorporated standard lacing with plastic loops for this skate. The additional 45° powerstrap secures the heel in position. Exceptional stitching quality and attention to detail in the finish, along with a rear carrying strap, complete this outstanding skate.

FRAME
The frame features a two-piece construction, comprising two separate aluminium 3-D stamped sidewalls connected by a robust and solid mounting block. The standard mounting for this frame is 165mm, fitting a variety of fitness skates available on the market.

TYRES & BEARINGS
The 6 ¼” air tyres are produced by Kenda—a well-known tyre manufacturer. They feature a sturdy 5-spoke rim. The area around the valve is covered with rim tape, commonly used in bicycle tyres. The tyres can be inflated to a maximum of 6.3 bar / 90 psi.

150mm Super High Rebound PU wheels are available for separate purchase. Ideal for skaters who prefer to skate predominantly on asphalted roads and desire higher speed.

BRAKE
The Powerslide calf brake offers numerous adjustments to suit individual preferences and skating skills, providing skaters with a secure sensation and optimal braking functionality. Skaters can adjust the brake pad in all directions and even the angle. The height adjustment function is perfect for achieving the preferred personal braking position, whether with straighter legs or more angled legs. The pad is easily replaceable if worn down. The skate is equipped with a single brake system only.
