Description
Advanced wheels for speed skating. Designed around the four-component TR3 system called "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane, Matter laboratories and the Powerslide Matter racing team are firmly convinced that these wheels will dominate both track and road racing for many years ahead.
The G13 PU provides excellent grip without ever sacrificing roll, and offers impressive pop out of turns. It incorporates S.E.R.T. technology, which stands for Stored Energy Ring Technology. This is best explained by the engineer behind the wheel - Neal Piper:
"One of the most important elements in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer where a softer structure melds with a significantly harder mounting base. This area is crucial for energy management in a wheel. At this pivotal point, the power of the push and the “stored rotational energy” within the deflected tyre must not be lost. If the transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and the harder plastic hub is constructed correctly, it achieves a perfect balance between tyre flexibility and energy release throughout the wheel."
Matter wheels utilise the Footprint scale, with F1 representing footprint 1.
F1 - equals approx. 85A
F2 - equals approx. 84A
F3 - equals approx. 83A
