Nova 2018 Womens Waist Kitesurfing Harness

The Ion Nova waist kitesurfing harness for women is crafted for freeride, wave, and freestyle kitesurfers.

Featuring EVA foam, an x-shaped internal support, and soft edges, the harness offers superior kitesurf gear with improved control, comfort, and flexibility.

The Nova incorporates Ion's C-bar technology. Thanks to this technology, the spreader bar is constructed not from metal but from reinforced injected fibres, which makes it exceptionally lightweight. The spreader features a tension lever system that easily secures the harness to a snug fit.

This design is optimised for comfort through internal EVA.

• X Spine

Thermo-moulded EVA insert in an x-shape is designed for enhanced back protection while maintaining harness flexibility for a comfortable and free range of movement.

• Soft Edge and Extended Soft Edge

The perimeter of the harness is built with extra soft neoprene, augmented by a special foam for an optimised comfort experience. The Soft Edge flexes sidewards at the hips and ribs for increased comfort.

• Split Edge

The Split Edge, which comprises a divided buckle plate, allows the harness to conform more precisely to the body, enhancing comfort and power transfer.

• HPL Slider

A slim handle located at the back features an integrated stainless steel ring to attach the handle pass leash.

• Belt Garage

Houses protect and conceal the buckles with a rubber patch for easy storage of the webbing.

• Kite Knife

In emergencies, having a kite knife to sever the lines is invaluable. This harness comes with an integrated kite knife.

• Invisible Seam

These seams provide a seamless transition from the harness’s midsection to the neoprene soft edges.

• Bar Keeper Belt

The Bar Keeper Belt is attached to the lower part of the harness. Connected to the spreader bar, this feature ensures the spreader bar remains in a low position.
