This performs very well as a breathable mid-layer, and is very warm with the wool content. I have worn it over various base layers, and under a Gortex shell for skiing, and it kept me warm and dry. I have also worn it without the shell on warm days skiing, and that works well too; it is surprisingly wind-proof but avoids you getting too hot when skiing hard on sunny days. Definitely recommended. | ||
