A full-body neoprene wetsuit designed to offer a snug fit. This is the more advanced model in the Onyx Element series, featuring a thickness of 5mm and a chest zip with a flip-over mechanism—it's an enhanced closure system to prevent water entry at the neck. An excellent option for cooler waters.

Features:

• Aqua-A

Aqua-A is a solvent-free, water-based adhesive utilised in all Ion wetsuits.

• Seam reinforcements

To fortify stress areas inside the wetsuit, Ion has incorporated Melco tape for enhanced durability. Ion advises: “If you inadvertently left the suit in the boot of your car on a hot day, they may begin to peel off. Don't worry! Carefully apply an iron over the affected spot, as the glue is heat-activated.”

• Contour Cut

Wetsuits crafted to follow body contours offer improved flexibility and comfort. All Ion wetsuits include contour cut technology.

• Drain Holes

To prevent water build-up where fabrics overlap, drain holes are incorporated. These holes won’t enlarge over time.

• Supra Tex

Fabrics applied to more exposed sections of the wetsuit—such as the knee areas. Supra Tex fabric boasts superior abrasion resistance.

• GBS - Glued Blind Stitched

For effectively bonding neoprene panels to achieve excellent water resistance, gluing is combined with blind stitch sewing to join the panels.
