A.P Limited No 7 Skateboard Deck

100% unique Skateboard Art by the artist Antti-Pekka Korhonen.

Antti-Pekka is not only a gifted, active skateboarder but also an acclaimed artist, who has already had an exhibition at the Helsinki underground Art event.

In collaboration with SkatePro, Antti-Pekka has designed a limited series of hand-painted decks, each one unique and individually numbered. The deck itself is a high-quality Sk8-Mafia deck made with 7 layers of Canadian maple.

The creative process:

• The decks underwent painting with a mixed technique of spray paint and paint markers, using the wooden surface of the plywood as a background texture.
• Two stencils were cut out, and spray paint was applied to create the base design.
• Over this base, each one was uniquely detailed with the paint markers.
• Finally, the deck was varnished three times.
