Description

The Rollerblade Maxxum Edge 125 3WD freeskates are built to provide great performance. They are designed for exciting and fast-paced urban freestyle and freeskate action. On these Rollerblade freeskates, you will find a hard boot. So if good power transfer and support are something you are looking for, the hard boot construction will provide you with that. The Rollerblade Maxxum Edge 125 3WD run small in size. We therefore recommend choosing one size up from your regular shoe size. These skates will fit just right if you have slightly wider feet.

  • High-Cut cuff gives you maximum ankle support for stabilization and reducing your muscle fatigue
  • Aluminum frame offers you direct handling characteristics while being super lightweight
  • Flat setup with wheels of the same size gives you a nice and stable base
  • 125mm wheels with a hardness of 85A making it easy for you to reach high speed and to maintain it for longer time
  • Liners that are ventilated, shock absorbing and anatomically shaped.
  • Breathable mesh used in the liners will keep your feet well-ventilated
  • Brake included in the package

Remember to check the screws before first use and tighten them if necessary. Please also note that you have to regularly examine the condition of the screws afterward.

Great skates BUT maybe order 2 sizes up if you're in the UK: I clicked on 12.5 & got 11.5, when I was trying to order up a size due to what people had said about the small fit. I'm currently trying to break them in. As others have said it's pretty uncomfortable round the ankles.

I have put around 100 miles on the Maxxum Edge 125's so far. These skates are really fast and great for long distance, pretty good at maneuvering as well for a 125 mm setup. There is just one HUGE problem with the setup for me and that is the left inside ankle bone pain, I have wrapped it, used Ennui ST Footies, it doesn't matter, you feel the pain when you are skating and it is only getting worse. If the pain wasn't there I give them 5 stars. The right skate is fine, never had any pain except minor when wearing the skates in. I could buy new liners and see if that would help, but I probably will end up just moving onto a different skate.

Reply from SkatePro:  Hi Kevin,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review!👌
I am sorry about the pain... It might be a production error. You can always send us an email with a few pictures or a short video where we can see the problem. If there is no visible problem, you can still give us an email so we can discuss what would help with the pain.

I hate to love them... I had the same ankle problems as many reviewers but IMO the boot is perfect and the liner is the main problem. The liner is very soft except at the ankle area but when I took the liner out of the boot I found that harder area is at a very weird spot. The center of my ankle is right at the edge of this "protection" area, so the front of my ankle is just at the thinnest part of the liner and that's where the boot created my pressure point on longer sessions... Replaced the stock liner with an Intuition (might not fit the boot perfect but) now it's just wow! So I think if you add a heat moldable liner this becomes one of the most fun skates! But yeah, with an additional liner we are almost in the price range of a carbon boot skate...

Got the length right by measuring my foot and going off the chart. Foot measured 265mm ordered a 43. The plastic shell isn't ment to be heat molded. Theyre way to narrow in the ankle area. An the plastic gives little flex. So it presses right on the bone, hard. To uncomfortable to skate. I still took a heat gun worked it very slowly and got it to fit right. But its not advised. I'm 145 5'6 my feet aren't "wide" these are to narrow. If you get them to feel good. They do like to cruise! Prefect for flat bike trails and river walks. Mine came with two scratches that didn't effect the product except cosmetically. I would not buy again or recommend. There's better skates out there for cheaper. Update: skatepro got in touched with me. Gave me a $55 return for the damage. Still wouldn't buy this skate again unless you have a very narrow foot in the ankle area. Skatepro customer service deserves a solid 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆ I will buying from them again in the future.
